My first video!! Learn to Crochet with Yorganza!


I am so excited.  My first project video!  Mary Lawrie was my camera woman.  It tooks us 10 or so takes as I was nervous.  I know, kinda crazy in a world of reailty tv and such, but I like to be the one
behind the camera, so this was a totally new experience for me.

it's in the details :: Pearly Kings and Queens of London

The Pearly Kings and Queens of London are magnificent.  A tradition started in the 1800's, it continues to this day.
Each Pearly King and Queen fundraises for a particular charity.  While newcomers have joined the movement, for
many it's a tradition that has been passed down through the generations.  Their garments are covered in mother of
pearl buttons, some with as many as 13,000 hand stitched into place.  There are noticeable symbols, such as the
horseshoe for good luck and the anchor for hope.

Free Pattern :: Button Embellished Kitchen Canister

This kitchen canister was given by a colleague during a holiday gift exchange.  I have since made many of my own,
some which I've kept and others which I've given filled with homemade goodies.  They make a great host(ess) gift!

Glass Prairie - French Beaded Flowers

In honor of spring and the flowers slowly unfolding in my garden, I bring you a few
more French beaded flowers from my Glass Prairie collection.  While they aren't
necessarily spring flowers themselves, they raised my spirits during the darkest
of winter days.
