Christmas DIY Holiday Decorations Part Two

Christmas is a time when you get homesick — even when you're home. ~Carol Nelson

More holiday inspiration!  The needle felted tree takes some time, but the rest are 2-3 hour projects.  For the snowman puppet pencil topper, use the the toe of an old sock as the hat rather than knit one by hand, unless of course you want to knit or crochet it.  It turns a pencil into a bit of magic and makes the minutes at school move a little faster.  The spice ball ornament smells fabulous and I hang it in my closet throughout the year.

Smoothfoam Design :: 4th of July Wreath

For what avail the plough or sail, or land or life, if freedom fail?  ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

I design projects for Smoothfoam and love working with the product.  It's affordable, lightweight, easy to carve, dsand and paint.  I used 10 smoothfoam balls to make this holiday wreath.  It's true,I am bcomign my mother.  She loved each and eveyr holiday in equal measure.  I used to think it a bit over the top, but now, I can't help myself, I love them too.  For the directions to this project and many others, check out theSmoothfoam Blog!
